The First of January 2008, Michael Hill was awarded the distinction of the Master of Photography degree from the Professional Photographers of America at their annual convention in Tampa, Florida. Michael had to fulfill many requirements to achieve this degree. He joins Larry Peters, us Killian and Brian Killian of Peters Photography in holding this degree.

Shortly after this event, Larry Peters spoke at Senior Photographers International in St. Petersburg, Florida. Over 400 photographers attended this annual convention. Larry’s Program was titled “keeping up with the digital revolution”. At the awards ceremony, he won “the most creative folio” along with a Kodak Gallery Award and the 2nd Place boy’s folio competition. Jordan Grimmett was the subject of the creative folio and Corbin Tanner from Chilicothe was the subject for the boy’s folio competition.

The Peters just returned from Tucson, Arizona and brought home additional trophies. They attended the “SPA” Senior Portrait Artists convention with over 500 attendees. Larry Peters and Brian Killian were guest photographers at the event. Brian  Killian won the highest Folio score with his folio of Erin Fowler. He also won the highest Girl’s Folio competition and the Judges Award.
